According to the Wall Street Journal, radio is already in poor shape due to the advent of podcasts and streaming. AI could be the final straw. A company called Futuri is using GPT-3 to find online content and stream it using AI-generated voices. This service is called RadioGPT, and plans to bring AI chatbots to listener’s ears.
With recent news of Bing’s chatbot spewing hostilities, perhaps AI radio might need some fine-tuning.
