According to CNBC, many in the technology sector believe the intersection of AI and medicine is the next big investment opportunity. The key factor in the advent of new AI-assisted medical technology is scientists’ ability to combine their physics, chemistry, or biology knowledge with computational and machine learning skills. These ‘bilingual’ scientists will be in high demand.


Venture capitalists note that all knowledge industry workers should be willing to work with AI, much like workers adjusted to the use of personal computers over 30 years. Many hope that AI will help doctors stay on top of new medical information, reduce burnout, and improve the quality of medicine.
