Experts say that the pace at which AI is being rolled out can have an impact on models’ ability to get hired. Popular AI model Miquela has over 2.8 million followers on Instagram and is even getting brand deals.
This could have repercussions in the industry as AI models can be increasingly “hired” for cheaper than live models. Many worry about the speed of AI development, with concerns that there aren’t adequate guardrails or policies in place.
