
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the advent of chatbots could be ushering in a new era of disconnect between humans. As AI becomes more and more advanced, what is it exactly that differentiates it from humans? Is the uniqueness of the human soul at risk?
While it might become increasingly difficult to tell what on the internet is human-made rather than machine-made, the saving grace is that it seems AI will be a prime tool for advertising. That relegates it to a tool much like email lists or ad algorithms, rather than becoming a human impersonator.
